    Description

    1961-63 Mickey Mantle Model M110 Game Used Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger Baseball Bat. The bat is 35" in length.   According to the Hillerich & Bradsby bat shipping records, during the entire 1961-63 bat labeling period Mantle only ordered model M110 bats on 2 occasions. He ordered 6 model M110 bats on March 14, 1961 and 12 model M110 bats on March 31,1961 from Hillerich & Bradsby for a total of 18 bats. All 18 bats were 35" in length. This rare bat is from the historic 1961 season when Mantle and Roger Maris both pursued Babe Ruth's home run record of 60 which Maris broke with his 61st home run in the final game of the season. The bat is in excellent condition as you can see in the photos. It is not broken or cracked. The knob, which has M110 imprinted on it, is not chipped. The M1110 model was a favorite of Mantle's during his career. Please contact me, if you have questions or need additional information.
