This bike is in excellent condition.  It has been a standout machine in my collection for several years but now it's time to find a new home.  It consistently gets the most attention even though it has some really tough competition. It runs and rides as it should.  Overall you may find a nicer GT550 but that would not be easy. You could easily consider this a show bike. It needs nothing.
The listed 9511 miles are believed to be original.   Cosmetically it is a beautiful machine and has has excellent care during its life.  Exhaust is solid with no holes, and the chrome is great.  The seat is not original but is extremely nice and appears as new.
The chrome on the fenders, parcel rack, chain guard etc.. is excellent.  There is some very minor pitting on the headlight bucket but it is very presentable.
The paint is excellent too.  Excellent depth and gloss. There is one repair spot and one other little mark as shown in the pictures.
The aluminum motor covers, including Ram Air cover, are in beautiful condition without pitting.
Tires are low mileage.  Battery is recent.  The gauges faces have the traditional yellowing as shown in the picture, I didn't feel replacement was required.
