We pack UNFILTERED Shea butter directly from their NATURAL GOURD they come in. Please do not expect filtered or artificially processed butter. Gourd is not included.
Due to temperature, upon receipt of shipment, you might find the Shea butter hard or soft or somewhat melted. This is absolutely NATURAL!!!
At times, Shea Butter may come grainy or gritty. This is normal. Just warm up gently and it will be smooth to use.
This is a RAW product. We NEVER add anything to maintain a consistent color or smell of the butter. That's why color, texture or smell may vary from batch to batch. If you are sensitive about these things, PLEASE buy REFINED Shea Butter; NOT this one.
PACKAGING: Some are packed in POLY BAGs and some are in JARS. PLEASE select yours CAREFULLY from the drop down list on top of this page.
WEIGHT: Weights mentioned are approximate weights ONLY. Weight mentioned is of GROSS WEIGHT (including jar or bag or pack) and not net weight. Jars are selected by volume. That is why due to different densities from batch to batch, a 16oz jar may hold 14 to 17 oz, an 8oz jar may hold 6 to 9 oz, a 32oz jar may hold 26 to 34oz and so on.
