    Description

    This listing is for a 3 phase, 2hp motor connected to a VFD (Variable Frequency Drive), especially popular for use on knife making belt grinders.
    PLUG & PLAY FOR A REGULAR 110V HOUSEHOLD SOCKET.
    The VFD is the best selling KBAC-27D. The motor is TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) which is the only choice for harsh grinding environments. It has a steel foot plate for mounting it to a bench & the face is 56C. Motor shaft is 5/8" diameter. The VFD is wired for 110V so the motor produces 1.5hp at 3600rpm which is ample for knife grinding but it can also be rewired for 220V if you wish for the motor to produce full 2hp (original instructions for the VFD enclosed). Some of our motors are also blue in color.
