It features Ivan taking his two horses and the humpbacked pony (granted to him by a magic fire bird) back to his father's stable. The scene is based on the Russian folk tale of "the Humpbacked Pony" or "Konyok -Gorbunok" in Russian.  The box is initialed by an artist.
