    Description

    High end made-in-Japan 1986 Moon J/J Bass.
    Extremely good condition for such a vintage instrument.
    I believe the body is Ash
    The neck is beautiful figured Birdseye maple with a skunk stripe down the back. 34” scale 1.5 nut.
    The bass weighs 10.4 lbs
    Vintage white finish that has aged to give it a darker tint.
    It is stunningly beautiful.
    Bartolini pickups and active Bartolini electronics. Volume/blend, bass/mid/treble boost and cut.
    Strung with black labella tape-wound strings.
    I’ve pictured some of the blemishes.
    There are no dents and small finish defects
    There is a very small crack underneath end of the neck where it meets the body. It’s tough to see. My guess is someone thought the truss rod adjustment was there. The neck must be removed to adjust the truss rod.
    She is in excellent condition and sounds PHENOMENAL.
