Up for your consideration is this Wonderful & Powerful ONKYO TX-5000 Stereo Receiver SN# 80076720. It is model TX-5000 and was produced from 1979-1982 era and had a list price of around 0 then. I purchased this unit back in the early 1990's from the original owner so I am the second  owner & it is now time to pass this Wonderful unit to the Next New Owner.

Onkyo TX-5000 stereo receiver with rated power of 65 WPC is conservatively rated as high end components back then were.
This unit has a digital tuner along with the analog style also. Very unique with both types of tuning.
This is an unbelievably nice vintage Onkyo receiver in which Some dial lights work, all meters work, switches work, digital fluorescent tuning pointer does not work & the RED stereo indicator light is burnt out. All the rotary controls are in great condition & work good with NO noise or scratchiness The faceplate is in Fantastic condition & the metal case is covered in a Beautiful looking wood grain vinyl which is also in SPECTACULAR condition. THE ONLY REAL ISSUE IS SOME TIME AGO I BROKE THE BLACK ANTENNA BAR ON THE BACK OF THE UNIT BUT IT STILL WORKS. IT IS NOW GLUED ON & ""STAYS"" IN ONE POSITION. I can't say enough about how nice this receiver is--I'm sure anyone who purchases it will be very pleased with its appearance and its sound and power. I would call the entire unit MINTY, but it is about 35/40 years old and someone out there would probably find a reason to argue the point. This is a very heavy unit and very well built.
The ""APPROX"" size of this receiver is 21-1/4" Long, 15-1/2" Wide/Deep, 5-1/2" High & 31 Pounds UNPACKED.
AGAIN THIS RECEIVER HAS BEEN LIMITED RETESTED FOR JUST A SHORT TIME & FOUND TO BE IN WORKING CONDITION. BUT BECAUSE IT IS A VINTAGE PIECE OF ELECTRONICS IT IS BEING SOLD IN AS IS CONDITION WITH NO WARRANTY OR RETURN.
