Description

Optiphen is a colorless liquid preservative containing Phenoxyethanol in emollient base Caprylyl Glycol. It is a natural preservative that is paraben-free and formaldehyde-free. It will protect against microbial growth while still remaining nice to the touch.
Optiphen is a clear preservative that can be easily added directly to the formulation during pre- or post-emulsification at or below 60 degrees C(140 degrees F).
Recommended use levels: 0.5 - 1.5%
CAUTION: May be harmful is swallowed. Can cause moderate eye irritation.
Shelf life is up to 2 years if stored properly and away from sunlight.
