Common Uses

It is also widely hailed as a natural insect repellant. It is rich in fatty acids and glycerides and together with its healing properties, provides an excellent natural moisturizing base for skin care formulations. Use at up to 10% in skin care formulations. Up to 3% in hand and foot care products and at 1 - 2% as an insect repellant. It is considered to be safe in all normal topical applications.
Consistency
: Neem Carrier Oil is very viscous, and it gets solid in the cold. Simply heat it in a hot water bath in order to thin it out.
Solid / Liquid
: Neem oil can solidify at low temperatures. If it has gone lumpy you need to warm it up by placing the container in warm water. Warm, not hot! 85F (30°C) is plenty.

:  Does not absorb easily into the skin.
Shelf Life
: Users can expect a shelf life of 2 years with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
