bridge. The mini switch (previously active-passive) is disconnected and is there just to cover the hole, push-pull control for A-P with upgrade. Plays and sounds great-looks good but more on the finish later.
Nice and light at 8.6 lbs. and this is a "real" light one, not chambered/hollowed out.
Neck to body fit is perfect, frets are perfect, no wear on neck but it does have a filled hole for what looks like a strapholder on the back of the headstock a la' '68 and earlier
Fenders.
Go figure.
THE BAD AND THE UGLY:
The finish "looks" good from a stage and a player's perspective but has issues. Bass has a nice satiny/semi gloss look and feels totally smooth but has quite a few finish cracks present visible when you hold the body in a certain way in the proper light, all pictured. Most likely clear coated at some point. If you
satinized
the finish, these would most likely "disappear" but in all honesty, the bass looks really nice as it is.
These are the basses that made the legend: a classic pro machine. Ships in a decent used gig bag.
