    If you stick your head inside the bag you will see light through the pin holes(photo #4 sorry best I could do) in the bag(
    NOT NOTICABLE FROM OUTSIDE OF BAG)
    . These holes are in the lining where it has been wrinkled over and over again from being filled then folded then rolled up in a ball and stuffed in to a pack or bag.
    Even with the pin holes these bags are still great for keeping gear dry in the field or in long-term storage. If you plan on submerging the bag underwater for extended periods of time with sensitive equipment in it then you should look for a NEW BAG.
