Cool vintage Made in Japan short scale bass with thumpy vintage pick-up.  Bass works but could use some work for playability.  Some fret buzz, and intonation issues.
Very cool vintage Teisco, Kawai super short scale bass guitar. Japan.
Scale length is 23.5".
Bass does need a little work, mainly with intonation.
It will need a new set of strings. Body has some scratches, finish checking and crazing.
Neck is straight. Fretboard has a small gap near the nut.(see photo) Frets look good but may need to be leveled.
Pickup works and has a great thumpy tone. Volume pot is a little scratchy.
Comes with a period correct hardshell case in OK condition. It is missing 2 latches.
